Price £7.00 ( 350g )Neovan Manrique has produced a stunning lot of coffee that is surprisingly complex and extremely rewarding. Look for notes of preserved fruits like cherry, plum and raisins as well as a surprisingly full body and intense creamy mouthfeel.
This is the new crop from Progreso – you may remember it from earlier in the year. We think this is a really fun and pleasing espresso.
We’re still experimenting with it but we quite enjoy it dosed up a bit to emphasize the fruit in the cup, and to ramp up the sweetness. We’d also run just a touch hotter to balance the cup out.
