This dried coffee cherry makes a lovely tea like drink both hot and cold.
This cascara has notes of prunes, undertones of honeysuckle coupled with the sweetness of raisins making for a delicious cup.
We recommend brewing this at 25 grams per litre with a steep time of about 7mins. Bag contains 150 grams of coffee cherry.

Producer AIDA BATLLE
Altitude 1600 - 1700 MASL
Aida Batlle and her outstanding coffees are well known to our customers, as is her cascara. One of our longest standing relationships, we've been buying from her family farms for years, but this one is extra special as Finca Tanzania is her own, personal farm. Her ingenuity and curiosity around innovations in coffee growing and processing have always been an inspiration to us. Through her we were the first to introduce the concept of cascara, the dried coffee fruit, to the UK and have been championing its cause ever since. We adore the the sweet, dried fruit flavours of the infusion made from it, whether brewed hot or chilled, sweetened with honey or complimented by a squeeze of lemon. We recommend using 30 grams per litre, water just off the boil and a 10-15 minute steep.
