We think it tastes like a super sweet peach syrup, prunes with a lovely lime acidity and a hint of vanilla and jasmine in the finish. The international COE jury found the lot to have notes of cherry, jasmine, chocolate, cedar, lime and spice, with a vibrant acidity and long aftertaste.
We're very pleased to be able to offer this Cup of Excellence award winning lot from Rwanda. It placed 13th in the competition, but was one of Jess' favourite coffees from the 169 coffees she cupped. You can read more about her experience at the Rwanda COE on our blog.
