As our first Ecuadorean coffee back in 2016, Amaluza holds a special place in our hearts. To get the full spectrum of its bright and elegant floral character, fleshy white peach sweetness and moreish texture, we recommend brewing it in a french press. The collaborative work of 10 smallholders, Amaluza is produced in the Espíndola Canton of Loja, one of the most southern provinces of Ecuador. Apart from being a natural wonder famous for producing some of Ecuador’s best coffee, Loja is regarded as the capital for music and culture. With a steep decline in coffee production over the past few decades, we see the need for offering producers security through establishing long-term relationships, a crucial link in contributing to the future of Ecuador’s rich coffee legacy. Wonderfully crisp, juicy and bright, we are proud to have Amaluza back for its fourth consecutive year. Golden sunshine in a cup may Amaluza brighten your day.
