An impressive cup made up of producer blends and micro-lots from villages located around La Coipa, Colossay, Jaèn and San Ignacio in northern Peru, we’re thrilled to welcome Aroma Del Valle to shop. Succulent and zesty, expect a deliciously clean and balanced cup. Grown on family-run farms no bigger than 3 hectares in size, Aroma Del Valle is a great example of the quality and raw potential emerging from Cajamarca. Harvesting between May and October, the farmers pulp, ferment and dry the coffees on their farms, using small wood or concrete fermentation tanks. As a project run by our green sourcing partners, Nordic Approach, the concept is to select high performing coffees from these smaller villages as a means of investing in communities. This, in turn, builds towards a consistent supply of coffee as farmers can invest in their farms and grow their business.
