A first-time showcase, we're thrilled to present El Eucalipto from Peru! Opening on a crispy note, El Eucalipto's smooth maple syrup body highlights a tropical twist of passionfruit. Produced by Lorenzo Chinguel Alberca, a member of the Cedros Cooperative in Cajamarca, Lorenzo is part of the micro-lot program aimed at building international acclaim around the producers of the region. With about 300 members, the cooperative offers better access to public and private funding for the producers to develop niche opportunities as active participants within the market both locally and internationally. Introduced to the group by his mother Maria Esminda Espinoza, who produced one of the top coffees last year, Lorenzo's talent and know-how shine through the cup.
