A new decaf component from Square Mile mainstay, Oaxaca’s Union San Pedro, meets the classical floral and stonefruit notes of Gedeo’s Aricha Adorsi. The resulting combination delights with subtle peach and apple notes over a smooth, milk chocolate base.

About
ABOUT
Creamy, peachy, and full of flavour, this half-caff version is sure to impress! The smooth texture of Decaf Union San Pedro serves as a sweet foundation for Gedeo's Aricha Adorsi floral, honeyed flavours.
Coffees produced in the town of Aricha, near well-known Yirgacheffe, are known for their floral character and bright, zippy acidity. Digging into the Square Mile archives, we purchased from Testi Coffee’s Aricha Adorsi washing station back in 2019. Then as now, this processor’s careful technique puts Aricha’s delicious profile on display. Clean, crisp, and complex, this component brings distinctive Ethiopian character to the blend.
Union San Pedro (USP) of Oaxaca, Mexico provides the base for the ethyl acetate decaf in this blend. Known for their almost perfectly consistent coffees, USP’s lot decaffeinates very evenly, creating a caffeine-free version with no compromise on flavour. These producers’ profile of milk chocolate, apple juice, and baked goods comes through elegantly in this decaf version.
