Our last instalment in what has been an impressive series is from the beautiful Finca Miranda. We found this coffee to have delicate rose and floral notes, which when combined with sweet mango and milk chocolate notes makes for a sensational coffee, a fitting finish to the series!

Producer JAIRO ASTUDILLO NARVAEZ
Varieties CATURRA, CASTILLO, TABI
Altitude 1800 MASL
In the pretty Jerico vereda of Palestina lives Jairo the owner of Finca Miranda, a 21 hectare farm where 9 hectares are planted with coffee. Jairo and his wife Greselia raised their two children Johana and Deiner Cristian here, and are actively involved in the day to day running of the farm. This is a good sized farm, they have almost 30,000 trees: 18,000 Caturras, 7000 Castillos and 3500 Tabis. The farm is Rainforest Alliance certified and they apply the customary washed process at their mill, sun drying their coffee under parabolic driers. This is the last of the Short Stories series, we only secured two bags of this coffee, and we’re thrilled to share them with you!
