One to play on repeat, La Cordillera from Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua is a first-time purchase and instant hit. Bright notes of yellow plum ring out just as the almond custard chorus kicks in, making for a delightful cup. Coming to us from the hills of Cordillera de Dipilto, Dipilto is much celebrated and renowned for speciality coffee it produces. The combined lot of 15 small-scale growers, this lot will not disappoint. Forming part of the mountain range that separates Nicaragua from Honduras, the area is a classified nature reserve offering pristine biodiversity for fauna and flora to flourish as well as the optimal conditions for coffee to thrive. Thrilled to showcase La Cordillera, we'll be presenting it as both an espresso and a filter, taking the opportunity to really dig deep and illustrate the different aspects of its flavour profile under different roast curves.
