Making a big, tasty splash in its first presentation earlier this season, we can't wait for you to taste the second and final lot from Rosimeire Guerra and Vargem Grande. An extended natural lot, this coffee –round and velvety with cherry and blueberry notes floating along into a creamy ganache finish, inspires delight! Growing up in a coffee-growing family in the Espirito Santo region of Brazil, experimental processing is Rosimeire's forte. Continuously refining techniques with her coffees, Rosimeire experiments with different fermentation methods and drying processes, like traditionally drying coffee on patios, mechanical drying and drying coffee on raised beds. In this case, the cherries were picked and fermented for 80 hours in tanks before drying, first on a patio, then in a mechanical dryer resulting in a sweet, smooth, almost chewy delight. A must taste, Vargem Grande is one of our top espressos for the season.
