Worka Wuri - 1

An absolute favourite, Worka Wuri from Gedeb, Yirgacheffe is back! Classic Ethiopian it's fresh and sparkly bursting with floral notes and elegant fruit twinkling in the cup. An impressive organisation, Worka Wuri washing station is located in Gedeb town, Gedeo zone and has roughly 650 farmers delivering into it. Renowned for producing some of the world's most sought-after speciality micro-lots, Yirgacheffe needs no introduction. High altitudes reaching up to 2200m, consistent rainfall, fertile soil and experienced, knowledgable producers combined with its recent history of coffee contribute to Yirgacheffe's status. Cultivating regional landraces, indigenous coffee varieties growing wild and endemic to Ethiopia, is what gives Ethiopian coffee its very own distinctly colourful and celebrated flavour profile. Elegant, bubbly, light and friendly, did we mention how delightfully tasty Worka Wuri is? One to take your time with - brew, savour and enjoy.
