Over the years, Bookkisa has become one of those coffees that, when you think of Guji, is among the first to come to mind. A highlight of our annual offerings, we recently introduced the Bookkisa Washed process — slightly brighter, with notes of toffee sweetness compared to the classic natural process. Now's your chance to join us on a journey to appreciate the subtle differences in body and flavour that processing brings.
Produced in Guji, Ethiopia by the Dambi Uddo Drying Station, this coffee continues to shine with complex, fruit-driven flavours. A firm favourite in our seasonal offering, Bookissa is supplied by Sookoo Coffee. A family-owned business, they produce and export traceable coffee, grown in the high altitudes of the Guji region. We've been working with Sookoo's founder, Ture Waji, since our earliest days of sourcing in Ethiopia. With its signature soft fruit medley notes and florals, it captures the showstopping profile typically associated with Ethiopian coffee. An absolute standout this summer, the Bookkisa journey continues.
