Glistening with shades of tangerine and golden caramel, say hello to Fernando Ardila!
From Huila, Colombia, this espresso was named after its first generation producer; Fernando Ardila. Dedicating his entire life to cultivating coffee, he established a 5-hectare farm called La Estrella in 2012. Located 1830 meters above sea level in the mountains of Guadalupe, the farm’s elevation combined with ideal climate and fertile soil are key ingredients to achieving the high level quality of his coffee. With 15,000 trees of Colombia and Caturra varieties, La Estrella has become a source of pride for Fernando’s family, including his wife Nubia and son Jhon, whose hard work and dedication to sustainability shine through in the outstanding produce.
With each harvest celebrating the family’s legacy, Fernando continues to improve and expand the farm for the next generation as “every cup of coffee we produce carries a part of their dreams, their story, and the land they cherish”.
