About
ABOUT
Creamy, peachy, and full of flavour, this half-caff version is sure to impress! The smooth texture of Decaf Union San Pedro serves as a sweet foundation for Gedeo’s Aricha Adorsi floral, honeyed flavours.
Coffees produced in the town of Aricha, near well-known Yirgacheffe, are known for their floral character and bright, zippy acidity. Digging into the Square Mile archives, we purchased from Testi Coffee’s Aricha Adorsi washing station back in 2019. Then as now, this processor’s careful technique puts Aricha’s delicious profile on display. Clean, crisp, and complex, this component brings distinctive Ethiopian character to the blend.
We’ve found this to be a particularly good harvest from MICEPA Micromill, producers of the Altamira de Chirripó lot that we decaffeinated here with the Ethyl Acetate process. Dried fruit notes, creamy texture, and a lingering finish match perfectly with Aricha Adorsi’s elements of blackberry and candied orange.
