Discover the art of coffee tasting and hone your sensory skills in our engaging workshop inspired by our SCA Sensory Skills courses.
- We’ll explore sensory science to understand the concepts of taste, aroma, and flavour, and learn the foundations of assessing coffee.
- We’ll put our sensory skills to the test by identifying the basic tastes and aromas commonly found in coffee.
- We’ll cover coffee evaluation and quality control, learning about cupping, scoring, and descriptors.
- Finishing with a challenge, you’ll participate in a coffee tasting using the triangulation format to identify our current coffees.
