In this workshop, we’ll cover water preparation and demonstrate some quick, foolproof ways to brew delicious coffee at home by experimenting with the water we use for brewing.
- We’ll explore foundational water chemistry, looking at the composition of water and its influence on coffee brewing.
- By tasting coffees brewed with a range of different waters, we’ll gain more understanding of water's impact on extraction, flavour, and body.
- Experimenting with Lotus Water Drops, we’ll look at creating tailored water recipes for enhancing specific flavour profiles in our coffee, using the V60 brewers to emphasise clarity.
- We’ll finish the session with a brewing challenge, working in groups to create our ideal water for brewing.
