About
ABOUT
Produced in the Santa Bárbara region by José Ángel López Muñoz, this coffee tells the story of the work and dedication that goes into realising your dreams. After several years working on other farms, Muñoz saved enough money to invest in two small coffee plots, which he acquired in 2013. Although this lot bears the name of the local area, Piedras Amarillas, his farm's name is El Nopal.
As many of you know, Honduran coffee profiles can vary widely, ranging from bright and fruity to deep and chocolatey. This particular lot strikes the perfect balance, bringing baked-fruit acidity to life, anchored in rich golden caramel and chocolatey tones and textures and almondy finish - it embodies comfort in a cup. Rewardingly moreish, Piedras Amarillas strikes again.
