Introducing the Cave Cup—a bespoke, limited-edition cup handcrafted for Square Mile by Leyton-based ceramic artist Jiayao Peng at her PPP LAB studio.
A hand-pinched and carved stoneware cup; each piece is unique. The tactile curves, designed to keep your coffee hot and your hands cool, remind us of the Griffin’s wings, adding an extra little layer of delight to your brew.

A Note from the Artist:
"The creation of the Cave Cup happened organically. As I picked up a piece of clay and began shaping it using the most primitive pinch method, I noticed that the texture of my fingers left uniform impressions on the outer surface. Wanting to enhance these marks, I deepened them, resulting in an engraving that breaks away from traditional vertical precision."PRODUCT DETAILS
