We’re proud to introduce the first harvest from Vandaluz, the inaugural farm 100% owned by our partners at Los Volcanes Coffee. A classically clean and sweet foundation is brightened with fruity notes of pear, lychee, and grape.
Situated on the slopes of Volcán de Agua in Antigua, Guatemala, this eight-hectare farm was stewarded by long-time collaborator Rafael Zamora, who implemented many of LVC’s quality-driven practices before selling the land to retire. Since taking ownership, LVC have introduced their own organic compost and fertiliser programme, improving soil nutrition and tree health.
Even with minimal intervention so far, cup quality has shown an immediate lift—proof of how critical plant nutrition is to flavour expression. Ongoing work will include shade and soil management, alongside trials of new varieties in the years ahead.
