Introducing the Winter Blend! The warm-up to reach for this winter, expect tons of texture and dessert-like comfort, bringing together fresh crop coffees from Kenya and Peru, sourced and roasted to add some extra glow to the Festive season.
Roasted for filter, the first component, Nguguini from Kenya, delivers the classic Kerinyaga profile. Silky smooth with the range of berry pick-and-mix notes combined with the deeper, creamy, almond sweetness of San José de Lourdes, makes for the perfect winter warmer.
Established in 1958 as part of the Kibirigwi Farmers Cooperative Society, the Ngunguini Factory is a cornerstone in Kenya's coffee heritage. It currently serves approximately 1,200 active members. Located at the base of Mount Kenya, Ngunguini is more than just a processing site; it's a community hub where generations of farmers convene, producing coffee that captures the richness of their soil and the depth of their collective knowledge, thereby continuing to shape their legacy of quality and pride.
San José de Lourdes is a highland district in Cajamarca known for its sweet, clean coffee profiles supported by ideal elevation, rainfall, and native shade trees near the Ecuadorian border. This lot is sourced via Falcon Coffees Peru (FCP), which uses a direct approach: producers deliver parchment to the Jaén warehouse for immediate cupping, analysis, and same-day payment.
