Join us for the next chapter of our annual Roasting Focus series - a deep dive into a coffee's intricate journey before it’s ready to be brewed at home or in your café. In this immersive, two-hour session, you’ll be guided step-by-step through our profiling process, following the path of the bean from its arrival at the roastery, through planning and test roasting, to the coffee’s release as a final product.

      Led by our experienced roasting team, this session is designed to engage everyone from curious coffee lovers to industry professionals. You'll gain a comprehensive understanding of how we evaluate and plan each roast, with insights into the science and sensory work that shapes our final profiles.

      What to Expect:
      - Behind-the-scenes access to our profiling process: From green evaluation to roast development, learn how we plan our roasting profile to highlight a coffee’s unique character.
      - Explore our tools and equipment: See how we use the IKAWA sample roaster to analyse green coffee and track moisture release curves to evaluate initial roasting potential.
      - Live roasting demonstrations: Observe real-time roasts on our 15kg Probat, with detailed commentary from our team on Cropster tracking, adjustments, and sensory expectations.
      - Taste the results: Through a guided cupping, you’ll experience how small adjustments in roast development impact cup quality, balance, and flavour
      - Quality control in action: Understand our calibration protocols, how we assign flavour descriptors, and what criteria a coffee must meet before it's released.


      Booking details:
      When you have made your booking you will receive two confirmation emails, one from Shopify with your receipt and one from our booking software Servicify with your booking details.
